SLAY DUGGEE were formed, recorded a song, and made this video within 48 hours. 10 hours later the video had gone viral on Facebook and was played by Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music. Talk about quick turnaround!

This song is a hardcore metal reworking of a popular CBeebies song 'Stick Song' from Hey Duggee 'The Stick Badge' episode. A song which seems to have captured the imagination of parents in the UK.

The SLAY DUGGEE video is totally unofficial and nothing to do with Studio AKA or CBeebies - although we love and respect both massively. A-Woof!

SLAY DUGGEE is Ben Mills, Jim Fleeting, Richie Cooper, Drew Price and Nick Hearne.

Role: Director, illustrator, animator, editor, musician, music producer, mixer

Additional art work and illustration from Ben Mills.

Some more Slay Duggee videos...

'Hello Igglepiggle!' from In The Night Garden

'Everything is Awesome' from The Lego Movie. Stop motion macro Lego animation. This was tricky swapping the heads around to make the characters sing.

'I Am A Shape' from Mister Maker

'Sarah & Duck' from Sarah & Duck. Had fun making the laser ducks for this one. Celebrity cameos from Jean Claude Van Damme and Shia Labeouf.

The Slay Duggee Xmas single, 'Walking In The Air' from The Snowman. Featuring a guest vocal from TesseracT singer Daniel Tompkins. The video is a throwback to 1980s Xmas special Top Of The Tops performances. Glowing highlights, fake snow, air grabs, multiple exposures, and of course flying!

The heaviest cover version of 'Baby Shark' originally by Pink Fong. Slay Duggee are underwater, and being attacked by sharks. YIKES! This video got over 25 million views on Facebook. More viral than The Meg!

Released to coincide with Toy Story 4, this is a hardcore take on the Randy Newman theme tune 'You've Got A Friend In Me'. In the negative colour video, Black Shuck is playing with Woody and Buzz, and Woody discovers he has a REAL laser. Look out Woody, he's not 'just a toy' after all.
